Choosing the right ArcPit size starts with knowing your tyre size. The ArcPit is designed to store safely and securely over your spare tyre, whether you're travelling with a caravan setup or a serious off-road rig. Picking the right size means your fire pit will stay snug, stable, and ready for every adventure.

Two Sizes. One Epic Experience.

We offer two ArcPit sizes: the Standard ArcPit and the XL ArcPit. Both are built tough from high quality 430 stainless steel, but they fit different tyre ranges to ensure secure transport and easy access. If your tyre is too small or too big for a snug fit, the ArcPit may not sit correctly or could move during travel.

How to Measure your Tyre Size

You’ll find your tyre size printed on the sidewall - written like 265/70R17. This can be matched to your size using our handy table above. If your tyre falls on the borderline (like 285's), you may have the flexibility to choose either size depending on how tight or loose you’d prefer the fit.

FAQ'S

The tyre guide says my tyre will suit the standard size ArcPit, but I want the XL size ArcPit, does this matter?

It is a common misconception that the XL ArcPit gives you a bigger fire, this is not true. The XL ArcPit is only 20mm wider and 40mm longer than the standard size ArcPit. It was not designed to give you a bigger fire, only to fit larger tyres.

What is the difference in weight between the standard and XL size ArcPit?

The standard size ArcPit weighs 11.7kgs and the XL ArcPit weighs 14.8kgs.

Do the BBQ plates and accessories fit on both size ArcPit's?

YES, all the ArcMate BBQ plates fit both sizes of the ArcPit universally, the only accessory you need to select a size for is the ArcPit leg extenders
