What Size Tyre Does the ArcPit Suit?
Choosing the right ArcPit size starts with knowing your tyre size. The ArcPit is designed to store safely and securely over your spare tyre, whether you're travelling with a caravan setup or a serious off-road rig. Picking the right size means your fire pit will stay snug, stable, and ready for every adventure.
Our simple rule of thumb is:
ArcPit standard - will fit almost all camper trailers, caravans and van spare tyres up to 304mm wide. This includes tyre sizes from 195's to 285's. Most caravans and camper trailers have 265's or smaller, if you are unsure you can google the brand of your caravan to find out the tyre size.
ArcPit XL - is designed for 4x4 cars and vans, like Titanium, Lotus or 76 Series, Landcruisers, and Patrols running 33's, 35's and 37's at 12.5-inches.
ArcPit XXL - is designed for off-road trucks, like Isuzu NPS 4x4's and Iveco's running 37's and 42's at 13.5-inches.
How to Measure your Tyre Size
You’ll find your tyre size printed on the sidewall - written like 265/70R17. This can be matched to your size using our handy table above. If your tyre falls on the borderline (like 285's), you may have the flexibility to choose either size depending on how tight or loose you’d prefer the fit.
